Exchange and Cooperation
The school has been attaching great significance to the exchange and cooperation with our counterparts home and abroad. Off-campus inter-ship program bases have been set up in 11 enterprises; university-industry partnerships have been forged with Datang Telecom, ZTE Corporation, Huawei Group and etc.; long-term exchange mechanisms have been created with scholars and specialists from a number of institutions of higher learning, research institutes and public sectors.
The school has made great efforts to participate in the international science and technology programs, key projects from State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and international academic conferences. The school has also established strategic cooperation with many well-known research institutes and universities in the world such as VTT (Technical Research Centre of Finland), Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (Germany), Infineon Technologies (Germany), Swansea University (UK), Erlangen-Nürnberg University (Germany), George Mason University (USA), Fachhochschule Deggendorf (Germany), London Southbank University (UK), Politecnico di Torino (Italy), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), etc. On the other hand, Cooperation in international scientific research, overseas training for faculty members, student exchange (undergraduates and postgraduates) and joint-education (Ph.D. program) have been launched.
